Do you publish journals? My daughter and I have written a series of prompted mindfulness journals.
If you submitted it to us, you can resubmit it again in the proper format.
Thanks, Kaelyn Barron. I have been reading thru your website and I love your publishing philosophy. There are two things I want to find out here. First, one of my books is already published, though I have the full right. Secondly, I write in verse drama, do you accept this genre of literature? I am a verse dramatist.
Hi Fabrice, thanks for your comment! :) unfortunately we don’t publish verse drama. However, you might find this list of play publishers helpful
do you accept from Canadians?
Yes! :) we accept international submissions from all countries.
I had my first book accepted by what i thought was a traditional publisher, but turned out to be a vanity publisher. is TCK open to republishing the book? i am having some misgivings about the current publisher. It appears they are extremely self-serving. Thank you!
Hi Bob, yes, we are open to republishing books. However, you’ll need to look at your publishing contract to see if you still own the rights to your work.
Hello, I have been pondering about the perhaps ambivalent age restrictions for publishing. My resources have virtuously apprised me that poised and/or gifted writers can begin professionally publishing their work as young as 10 years old. Not trying to seem immensely dubious of the policies, but this is a very crucial question and the response can help me with a lot of things.
Hi Heidi, while some publishers have age restrictions for the projects they’re willing to take on, many (like us) do not. We even have a post highlighting some of the youngest published authors.
Thank you! I submitted my YA 60K Novel called Shook!
I have submitted to several publishing houses and already heard back from one with interest. I was wondering how long it normally takes to hear back from TCK? Your publishing house is my first choice!
Thank you again for your consideration,
Denise
Hi Denise,
Thanks so much for your interest in working with us! We’re not currently open to submissions for fiction, but if you sign up for our fiction waitlist, you’ll get notified as soon as we reopen submissions.
Our average email response time is around 34 hours right now. I hope that helps!
Hello, I was wondering if you were open to fiction submissions yet. I read all the appropriate guidelines and there is nothing to suggest you’re not, but I thought I’d reach out just in case. Also, for the above guidelines; since the submission page is formatted for specific types of input, I’m assuming items like the marketing plan and future writing plans should be included in the manuscript?
Dart
Hey Dart! We’re currently open for fiction submissions. And yes, you can include your future and marketing plans in the manuscript.
Here is the link for our submission guidelines (just scroll down a bit to get to the fiction part): https://www.tckpublishing.com/submission-guidelines/. You’ll find the link for the submission form there too.
Thank you for allowing me to submit a manuscript. I’m very excited for the opportunity! I appreciate the submission guidelines and hope to hear from you soon. Take care!
Thanks for submitting your manuscript, Ashley! We’re looking forward to reviewing it :)
Good morning,
When I started writing my book I used 2.0 spacing and Arial font. Since I want to present the best product possible, will it be necessary for me to change the work to 1.5 Times New Roman prior to submission?
Hi Dr. Anderson, that’s fine, you can submit your manuscript as it is :)
The wait has been long, but the intervening time enabled me to improve the quality of the first four parts of my ‘Space Opera’ submission. Thank you for Opening the doors. I sent my manuscripts in today.
I hope the reader enjoys them as much as I loved to create them.
Hi Stephen, thank you for submitting your manuscript to us! We’re very excited to publish more fiction again too! :)
Thank you for letting me know that your publishing window for fiction is open again. Fat Boy no more is my first book in a three part series. Hope you will enjoy reading it.
Thanks Maretha!
Hi Tom,
Thank you for sending me the email via Customer Support to inform that TCK Publishing is now open for submissions on Fiction. I have responded to Mark’s(Customer Support) email and attached my manuscript in the format as desired in the reply.
Just wanted to know if my submission has been received and if any further details are required from me?
Happy to respond to any and all queries regarding my manuscript!
Hi Samrat,
Thanks so much! You will get a response from our Customer Support team ASAP to update you about your submission.
Hi Tom,
Hope you are well? Just following up on the fiction submissions that were accepted a month ago: has the shortlist for fiction novel submissions been decided yet?
Kind Regards,
Samrat Mitra.
Hi Samrat, we just got a new fiction editor recently, shortly after we reopened submissions, so we’re a little backed up with fiction submissions. However, I just checked the log and we did receive your submission. It’s still awaiting a decision but you should get an answer shortly :)
Hello, may I ask if it possible for those less than 18 to send their submission and if yes where do I do it.
Hi Larrane, yes, we accept submissions from minors. You can find our submission guidelines here :)
Thank you for letting me know that you are now open to receiving fiction submissions. Since first getting in touch with you, I decided to self-publish. It was partly because I had already produced, with a cast of 16, a semi-dramatised audiobook of my book ‘For Her Bones: Dark Tales’. That will be available on Audible in a few weeks. The ebook and paperback are already out there

A marketing campaign should kick in over the next month or so, but I am already receiving a good response. All that said, I may, if it looks worthwhile to both parties, hand it over to a publisher. Certainly, I will actively consider doing so for my next book.
Anyway, thank you once again for contacting me.
Alec
That’s great! Congratulations on self-publishing your book, Alec! I wish you lots of success :)
I will submit the fiction book already prepared and want to know the rule about it. Is it uploaded through the manuscript link or sent as an email attachment?
We currently only accept submissions via email attachments.
Hello! I have nine main characters, but you only see three of their perspectives in the first book, any suggestions on how to write the summary?
Hi Bea,
This post is a great place to start to learn how to write a great summary for a novel: https://www.tckpublishing.com/how-to-summarize-a-novel/
I hope that helps!
Hello – I have submitted my book Joy in Crisis
and completed the submission guidelines from – today and yesterday –
but instead of an acknowledgment of receipt of this – I keep getting sent an invitation to follow the submission process again (although this has been done)
I have followed the submission process and I would be very happy to hear back and move forward with the submission if that is possible? – thank you so much
Hi Rev,
I believe that’s because you did not follow our submission guidelines properly. We do not accept PDF submissions. I hope that helps!
However, the TKC website does say that while .doc manuscripts are preferred, .pdf manuscripts are acceptable. The recent reply from Tom is clearly in contradiction to the website’s information (within the FAQ section). Not all of us have been MSWord users. From the beginning of desktop publishing, I have been using WordPerfect from which a pdf file is saved. I will work at converting the manuscript to a doc file but suspect your editing department is more proficient and has the most sophisticated equipment for doing so as your website so indicates. Thank you for your quick responses to inquiries.
Hi Richard, thanks for your comment and for pointing that out! We’ve updated the FAQ page to clarify that we do not accept PDF submissions. However, if you need assistance converting your PDF to a doc file, you can contact [email protected] and we’ll do what we can to help :) I’ll also work on getting out a blog post on converting pdfs
Good afternoon my name is keneilwe mokobeng the author of my first edition God’s infinite love, my question is how do I get a job of being a permanent Author I am from South Africa in kimberley a very remote squatter camp and where can I get a sponsorship for a free laptop my dream is to work overseas and to spread the message of my book God’s infinite love to a wider Audience.

Hi Keneilwe, thank you for your comment and for sharing your dream of becoming a writer! I’m not really sure how to help about the laptop, but I will look into it- in the meantime you can check out this list of laptops, some are under $200. There are free publishing courses you can try, they might be helpful for getting started. I hope these resources help for now, please let me know if I can provide any other information!
I HOPEYOU RECIEVEDMY WORK
Hi Bunjo, I don’t handle submissions directly. However, if you followed our submission guidelines, you should have received a response at least confirming our receipt. Please let me know if you still haven’t heard anything :)
