nonfiction publishers blog post image

Finding a nonfiction publisher can be tough.

For me, it took six years of writing book proposals, querying literary agents, and pitching publishers until I finally got my first book published.

That experience of emailing, calling, and mailing submission after submission to countless agents and publishers left me feeling ignored, defeated, and depressed.

The good news is that experience also taught me to work hard, be patient, and keep honing my writing skills. It also inspired me to create TCK Publishing and to help our authors sell hundreds of thousands of books.

That’s also why our team created this list of nonfiction publishers to help make the process of finding the right publisher for your nonfiction book so much easier.

List of Nonfiction Publishers

Below you’ll find a list of nonfiction book publishing companies. Many of them are currently accepting submissions, while some only accept submissions from literary agents.

If you would like to find a literary agent to represent you and help you get a book deal, you can see our list of nonfiction literary agents and our free guide on how to find a literary agent.

These publishers currently accept unsolicited submissions, which means you don’t need a literary agent to represent you or submit on your behalf.
